Fuji x-t1 review #4: field test las vegas | Laurence Kim

After two weeks of shooting pictures of my desk lamp with the Fuji X-T1 due to the 10 degree Boston weather (remind me again why I moved here?), I finally got a chance to take some quick snaps in a more comfortable environment when I took a short trip to Las Vegas. There’s really not much to report. While taking these snapshots I felt………nothing. What I mean is that after a few shots I pretty much forgot about the camera and just got into image-making-mode. I was thinking about taking pictures, not about buttons, dials and menus.  And that, I suppose, is the true strength of the X-T1:  the camera is so intuitive to use that you don’t even think about it. There are no technical limitations (poor viewfinder, poor focus, poor exposure) that force you to think about your camera instead of your subject.  You just shoot…..
