Fujifilm teases upcoming SLR-style X system camera |
Digital Photography Review

Fujifilm is teasing an upcoming SLR-style mirrorless body on its X system page. The camera sports top-plate shutter speed, exposure compensation and ISO dials, along with a prominent central viewfinder ‚hump‘. It will be formally announced on January 28th, and as usual we’ll bring you full details then. Fujifilm isn’t giving any more details right now, but the teaser gives a pretty clear view of the camera’s top plate, on which we can see the following features:

  • Shutter speed dial with X-Pro1-like locking button
  • Exposure compensation dial covering +/-3 EV
  • ISO dial (also lockable), including ‚A‘ position for quick access to Auto
  • Control levers below shutter speed and ISO dials (function unknown, but drive mode would make sense)
  • Movie record button
  • ‚Fn‘ button which activates built-in Wi-Fi
  • Power switch surrounding shutter button
  • Large viewfinder hump, perhaps implying extra-large EVF
  • PC sync socket on front
  • Electronic front dial below shutter button…
