How do you top the X100S? | Dave Pardue

The hugely popular Fujifilm X100S from early 2013 was upgraded this year in the form of the highly anticipated follow-up Fujifilm X100T, and we’ve now uploaded our initial lab test series First Shots. Nothing on the X100T has changed in the way of the general basics in the imaging pipeline, from the bright 35mm eq. f/2.0 lens, the same 16.3mp X-Trans II sensor and the EXR processor II. But Fuji has added an expanded ISO setting above that available on the X100S of ISO 51,200, so feel free to take a look at this newest expanded setting, as well as using the images to assure the high quality has indeed remained on this follow-up model across the range. Below is a side-by-side comparison from our Comparometer at ISO 800. Please visit our Fuji X100T lab samples page for more, as well as our Comparometer to compare the Fuji X100T to any camera we’ve ever tested across the available ISO spectrum…….
