my brutally honest review of the leica Q | Emily Loke

This is a follow-up to my first impressions postof the Leica Q, wherein I willingly admit to making things up about the origins of its name, reference Back to the Future, and also hastag-heckle the mobile app. Good times! But moving on…we’ve had crummy conditions for camera testing lately, so please excuse these photos for looking a little grey. Seems like every time you need to be out taking photos, it’s raining and the city’s deserted and there’s nothing going on. I fully expect that the second I post this, the clouds will part and Beyonce will come riding down the street on a unicorn. Anyway, here’s what I loved about the Leica Q: It’s small, light and easy enough to use at a basic level. It’s still a criminally expensive point-and-shoot, but at least it has the image quality to back its price tag up…….
