Building on the successes of its housings for other mirrorless cameras such as the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the Panasonic GH4, Nauticam has now released a new housing for Fujifilm’s flagship mirrorless, the X-T1. The NA-XT1 housing sports the same features found on similar housings in Nauticam’s range: built-in tray and rubberized handles, built-in vacuum system electronics, and the company’s new-style port locking mechanism. What’s different with this housing is its provision for the manual control of aperture via a lens ring—an old-school feature of the X-T1 when combined with Fuji’s high end “XF” lenses and the new Carl Zeiss Touit 2.8/50mm macro lens.
