Will Leica launch a full-frame T? CEO talks to AP |

The first in the Leica T compact system camera line was unveiled a few weeks ago, featuring an APS-C-sized imaging sensor. Is Leica considering the launch of a full-frame version? Schopf was asked the question in an interview with Amateur Photographer (AP), to which he replied: ‚Let’s wait and see‘. He stressed, however, that it was no more than a possibility. When pressed on whether any research and development on a ‚full-frame‘ T was underway, Schopf declined to comment, expressing concern that his words may be misinterpreted. In a separate interview, Leica product manager Stefan Daniel emphasised the importance of the Leica T’s smaller format in enabling the system’s lenses to also be made smaller……….
