A walk around my hometown with the Fuji X-Pro1 | Tom Radford

I recently treated myself to a Fujifilm X-Pro1 to accompany my X100. Fuji had a pretty incredible deal on, where they gave you two lenses for free, when you purchased an X-Pro1, and on top of that gave you an extra £100 discount if you traded in certain DSLR’s. I had an old Nikon D5100 knocking around that I didn’t really use, so I went to my local fuji dealer and they offered me £150 trade value for the D5100.  Not bad, basically £250 for a body worth half that.. That made my mind up, so I dutifully handed over the remaining £400 or so and walked out with an X-Pro1 and the XF 18mm f/2 and the XF 27mm f/2.8. Having had the 18mm before on my old Fuji X-E2, I knew that was a keeper, but I was less convinced of the 27mm. I previously had the 35mm f/1.4 which was great and fully intend to sell the 27mm to purchase the 35mm, but before I did, I wanted to test it out, just to see. I went for a wander around my hometown with the X-Pro1 and the 27mm to see what it could do……..
