Documenting change as we move apartments to our new home | Paul Petch

After 5 years post Christchurch earthquake we are finally looking at a home over convenience and developing our various businesses and careers, so can’t wait to hang some photography on the walls, have friends over for food and to explore a new suburb. Spring is here too so the days are longer and somewhat energising which is great. I’ve been shooting randomly and sparingly with the Fujifilm X100T and still enjoy the simplicity of having it in my bag on most days. I’ve got to like it’s annoyances, and accepted it’s short comings, and plan on shooting more editorial work with it moving forward. Meanwhile here are a selection of images with no real theme other than a snippet of time in Auckland mostly with my family, some friends, and personal observations. All of which are priceless…….
