Fuji XF16-55mm 1:2.8 R LM WR | Leigh Miller

They must be taking a few pages out of the Apple playbook: Create something that’s easy for people to love. Once you have their attention, keep on giving them a steady stream of the good stuff. From iPod to Macs legions of buyers line up overnight to get the latest one. Fuji pulled that one off with the Xpro1 and X100. I have friends who despite upgrading to the XT-1 and X100S/T…retreat to those older cameras on occasion out of pure love. Only Leica used to make photographers behave like that. Although I wasn’t initially sold on the system partly because of the workflow issues, they slowly won me over with the lenses and continuous improvements to the camera lineup via firmware. For most working professionals there are two lenses that stand out, a 24-70 and 70-200mm. With those you can cover pretty much any situation from portraits to landscapes. We also like the constant F/2.8 aperture for low-light and control over depth of field…….
