Fujifilm XF90mm F2 R LM WR | PART ONE Review | Leigh Miller

The XF90mm F2 R LM WR is better! Sharper at F2 where the Canon needs to be stopped down to F2.8 and gets better into my usual F5.6 soft limit. Vignetting and other chromatic aberration bad behaviour is almost non-existent thanks to modern technology and exotic glass. The only spot where they be equal is the AF speed. The XF90mm F2 R LM WR was designed with Fuji’s new Quad Linear Motor system…magnets. It’s fast, smooth and very accurate. By the way…if Fuji ever get’s serious about video this new focusing system would be great for constant focusing setups. I was initially concerned about that when the lens did that „Fuji Shuffle“ as I like to call it…but in practical use I barely noticed it over the past week until I got indoors and lower lighting……
