The Goodwood 73rd Members Meeting is an exclusive event for Goodwood Road Racing Club Members, but fortunately it’s also not. Despite a strict 20,000 ticket limit for the event, they never sold out to members, so the remainder went on sale to the general public and muggins here bagged a weekend ticket. Even Fuji would admit that their system is not built for motorsport, but if you don’t try you will never succeed. Instead of throwing money at a ‚conventional‘ system for my motorsport needs I really want to get to grips with Fuji and find out exactly what is possible. So my X-T1, 23mm 1.4, 56mm 1.2 and crucially the 50-140mm 2.8 came along with me. Regardless of how things would work trackside, I knew the Fuji was onto a winner in the paddock, light weight, tilting LCD, stunning glass and new(ish) electronic shutter meant shooting wide open regardless of how bright it would be……..
