Recently, several representatives (myself included) from Leica retailers in North America were given a unique opportunity to visit Leitz Park; the newly opened manufacturing and corporate headquarters for Leica Camera AG in Wetzlar, Germany. The purpose of the visit was to immerse the group in company history, observe the design and manufacturing process, and to learn about the vision and future direction of Leica Camera. During that trip, our group was allowed to briefly preview the newly announced Leica Q Camera. Although we only had a few minutes to quickly handle, test and assess the camera, we were all in agreement; the Leica Q is insanely great……..
