Problems using LEE filters on Fuji lenses | Finn-b

From time to time I like shooting sea and landscape images using long exposures. Until now I have been using mostly welding glass and circular ND filters. A couple of weeks ago I decided to buy the LEE big and little stopper. I had high expectations about the filters, and was very excited to see the results. I like to shoot long exposures during daytime, often in sunny conditions. My exposures are normally 3 – 5 minutes. I mounted the filters, and went out to the coast to get some long exposures of water. On my camera LCD everything looked great, but when I loaded the images to my computer I was really disappointed. Most of the images had some kind of weird colorcast down in the corners. First I thought it was light leak, but after checking the foundation kit I found that everything was ok. It had to be something else. I started investigate if anyone else had experienced similar problems, and I found a couple of websites describing the problem, and also the solution. The reason this is happening is the white text on the lenses. When the sun hits the text, it reflects back to the inside of the filters, and back through the lens……..
