The Title is both true and false…with the real answer somewhere in the middle. An interesting subject and one I get lot’s of questions about so I thought to put it on the BLOG as sort of a running FAQ that I can refer readers back to in the future. I wish someone would have told me the straight truth starting out. It would have made all the difference and saved a ton of wasted effort and money. I would have learned from the get-go that a good lens isn’t just about „Bokeh“. So „Which lens should I buy for my photography“? Good question and not simple. With the megapixel wars in full swing your choice is actually more critical than which camera body/sensor you use. But before you run off and start studying those MTF charts I want to break down the most important aspects of lens selection………
