A Fujiholics Story | Elke Vogelsang
My name is Elke Vogelsang. I’m 42 years old and living and working in Germany. I’m a self-taught photographer, who turned her passion into a profession. When my first own dog, Noodles, joined our family, I felt the need to improve my photography to take pictures which do justice to her beauty and charming character. Two more dogs followed. So, our canine pack consists of Noodles, Scout and Ioli. All three of them are very keen models. My husband fell seriously ill a few years ago at Christmas. He had a brain hemorrhage. The dogs (Noodles and Scout) were the ones who found him in time, so he could be saved. But he spent weeks in a coma, months without any short-term memory and months in hospital. Well, that’s a very long story in very short… My dogs and my photography were my comfort and distraction at that time. Fortunately, my husband recovered fully.……
